COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT LISTENING SESSIONS:
 DECEMBER 11TH & 13TH
The WDB will be holding a series of Workforce Community Listening Sessions on December 11th and 13th to hear directly from individuals receiving services through our organization. The sessions will focus of services currently being provided for English Language Learners, Foreign Born, & Refugees - Persons with Disabilities - CalFresh Recipients - Parents Paying Child Support.

The importance of the Workforce Community Listening Sessions is to gather feedback from individuals receiving our support services, and how we can re-design our workforce system in Solano County to better serve these populations in our community.

Each Workforce Community Listening Session is free, open to the public, and scheduled for two hours in the evening. We will be providing light refreshments for all attendees and appreciate any of those that are able to attend. To RSVP, questions or comments please contact Brian Hooker at [email protected]

16-Hr OSHA Disaster Site Worker Course
December 5th & 6th, 2018| 320 Campus Lane, Fairfield, 94534
The Disaster Site Worker Outreach Training Program is a training program for Disaster Site Workers who provide skilled support services, (e.g. utility, demolition, debris removal, or heavy equipment operation) or site clean-up services in response to natural and man-made disasters. Specifically, it is recognized that all workers at disaster sites need to be aware of the differences between disaster sites and regular construction or demolition worksites and be able to inspect, don, and doff air-purifying respirators. Also, the program will make management and labor aware that pre-incident training is essential for ensuring disaster site worker safety and health.
