Sharing &
Caring
When you or a family member is in the
hospital or experiencing a challenge, let the synagogue know by
contacting the main office. Too often we find out about illnesses,
crises and hospitalizations after they occur. This is a missed
opportunity for the calls and visits we would like to share. Please
let us know if there is a concern in your family or another
congregant's family (with their permission).
We need your help in order to offer
ours!
Congratulations
Did your family or someone you know in our
extended Solel family recently experience something worthy of a
Mazel Tov? Please contact our office to let us know at soleloffice@solel.org!

INTERNET DONATIONS CAN NOW
BE
MADE VIA THE SOLEL
WEBSITE
Congregation Solel has a long
tradition of charitable giving in honor/memory of life cycle
events, special occasions and for other thoughtful purposes. In the
past, donations to Congregation Solel could only be made by
contacting the Solel office in writing or by telephone. We are
pleased to announce that donations to Congregation Solel may now
additionally be made through the Internet at: www.solel.org .
Internet donations to Congregation
Solel are routed through PayPal to enhance the security of on-line
donations. The Congregation Solel web site does not request or
maintain any personal payment information.
To use on-line donations, go to
the www.solel.org home page and
look for the section: Support Congregation Solel Online. When you
click on the words online giving, you will be routed to a donation
page. The donation page requires a certain amount of
information [identified with red asterisks] and allows optional
information to be added for the preparation of acknowledgement
letters. A drop-down list of funds accepting donations and a simple
way of setting the donation amount is provided. If you prefer, the
blue text allows you to download a paper donation form that can be
mailed to the Solel office.
Once you have verified that the
information is correct and chosen to use PayPal, you will be taken
to the PayPal site. You can choose to use a credit card if you do
not have a PayPal account, or login to PayPal if you do. After the
payment is completed, you will receive an e-mail for verification.
An e-mail is additionally sent to the Solel office for
recordkeeping and to direct the mailing of any acknowledgment/tax
deduction letters. All donations to Congregation Solel whether paid
via the Internet or otherwise, are tracked by the Solel office for
your convenience and tax deduction purposes.
We are very fortunate that our
members are deeply invested in Congregation Solel's long-term
success. Without the generous gift-giving of its members as a
supplement to their annual dues, Congregation Solel would not be
able to sustain its vision.

Class / Solel Yeladim
9:45 am until

Congregation Solel's Religious School offers an exciting program
designed to help 3 and 4 year-old children begin to embrace their
Jewish heritage in a lively, fun environment.
Together we celebrate holidays,
learn and create Jewish music and art, participate in synagogue
life, sing, play games, and dance. One of the keys to our success
is hands-on parental participation.
Siblings of members, as well as
non-members of the synagogue, may attend!
To register, or if you have any
questions about Solel Yeladim, please contact the Religious School
office or Geoff Prass, Director of Education, at 847-433-3417 or Religious_School@solel.org.
