Welcome to the City of Prescott Solid Waste Scale and Fee Booth Relocation Project eNews. Businesses and residents are reminded to call the Project Hotline at (928) 237-3114 to speak to a project team member with any questions or concerns. Please note that in the event of inclement weather the work schedule may be altered without notice.

The City of Prescott (City) and their contractor, Fann Contracting, are currently working on a project that will improve the City’s solid waste facility for all users. The project consists of relocating the solid waste fee booth and scales from their current location to a new site along Sundog Ranch Road. To accommodate this relocation, Sundog Ranch Road will be widened to add an additional lane in each direction. Access to the existing fee booth and scales will be maintained via a temporary access route. Additional work includes installing new concrete curb and gutter, relocating the existing gate, water main, fire hydrants and replacing storm drain pipes along Sundog Ranch Road.

The project is scheduled to be complete in late 2024. This project is being undertaken to improve ingress and egress to and from the City’s facilities and once complete, will allow for easier use of the solid waste scales and fee booth.
