SOLID WASTE SCALE AND FEE BOOTH RELOCATION PROJECT SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETE
The City of Prescott and their contractor, Fann Contracting, have reached substantial completion of the Solid Waste Scale and Fee Booth Relocation Project. The project consisted of relocating the solid waste scales and fee booth to a new location on Sundog Ranch Road. To accommodate this relocation, Sundog Ranch Road was widened to add an additional lane in each direction. Additional work included installing new concrete curb and gutter, water main, fire hydrants, relocating the existing gate and replacing storm drain pipes along Sundog Ranch Road. This project was undertaken to improve ingress and egress to and from the City’s facilities and allow for easier use of the solid waste scales and fee booth. Please remain alert as crews perform minor clean-up activities to finish out the project.
The City is proud to bring improvements such as this to the Prescott Community and appreciates your support as our crews have worked to complete the project. To learn more about these new amenities and how to use them, click here.
