A Letter From The Rt. Rev. Shannon Rogers Duckworth

April 29, 2025

Dear Friends,

It is with great pleasure that I announce my call of the Very Rev. Robert Beazley to be the Executive Director of the Solomon Episcopal Conference Center. This call was unanimously and enthusiastically approved by the Solomon Center board.

Over the last year, the interim director, board, and I have engaged in significant work at the Solomon Center, especially around financial transparency, facilities assessment, property management, and strategic planning. The enthusiasm is contagious, and I look forward to exploring ways in which we can enhance our reach and ministry, not only in the diocese but in the wider community. I am grateful for the leadership of both The Rev. Winston Rice and The Rev. Dan Krutz for their loving and faithful service to the Solomon Center in the interim. In addition, the staff has stepped up in this time, and every guest has been met with the same wonderful hospitality that we have come to expect.

Please join me in welcoming Robert and his family, Liz, Liam, and Anne, to this new ministry and keep us all in your prayers. Great things are ahead for us. May God bless you.

Faithfully,

The Rt. Rev. Shannon Rogers Duckworth

Bishop, The Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana

A Letter from The Very Reverend Robert W. Beazley:

Dear Friends in the Diocese of Louisiana,

Grace and peace to you in our risen Lord.

I write to share the news that I have accepted a new call to serve as the next Executive Director of the Solomon Episcopal Conference Center. It has been a joy to walk alongside so many of you in ministry across this Diocese, and I am honored to step into this new chapter of service.

The Solomon Center holds a special place in the life of our Diocese—a sacred space set apart for retreat, reflection, and renewal. I am excited to join the dedicated team at Solomon Center as we continue to build upon its mission, deepen its impact, and ensure it remains a beacon of hospitality and spiritual transformation for all who enter its gates. I’ll be transitioning into this new role at the end of June.

I remain grateful for your prayers and for the shared commitment we hold to serve God’s people faithfully and joyfully in this corner of the Kingdom.

Faithfully,

The Very Reverend Robert W. Beazley
