Greetings!

A short video about your family's story may be just what your family needs to really appreciate and enjoy your family history discoveries. A video takes a little work like everything in genealogy does, but is well worth the effort.

One of the things that can deter you from creating your own family history story video is a lack of visual content. (You may have also run into this problem when creating a book or family history blog.) While you probably have some old family photos, you might not have all the images you need to visually represent the story that you're telling. Don't let that stop you! If you need an image or photo to convey a place, time period or event, the Library of Congress (LOC) can help.

The LOC's Free to Use and Reuse Sets is a website featuring content that is free to use and reuse. Here you'll find a variety of subjects like Maps of Cities, Cars, Posters, Travel and more.
