Greetings!

Happy Fall ya'll (yes, I married a Texan so I can say "ya'll" now!) We've got lots of goodies for you this month - including ways to celebrate safely this year. We hope you and yours are staying healthy and positive out there.

LIFE INSURANCE AWARENESS MONTH
Here are the spooky stats:

Did you know that 46% of Americans do not own life insurance, and 1 out of 3 who own coverage, do not have enough coverage?*1

Did you know that 33% of households would face financial challenges within 1 month if the primary wage earner died?*2

Did you know that when polling ages 35-60, with annual incomes of over $100,0003:
  1. 66% are unsure or don't know that death benefits paid from life insurance are tax-free
  2. 51% don't know they can use the cash value to supplement retirement income (or sooner, if funded correctly!)

Did you know that life insurance can cost less than a $0.01 per day, per $1,000 of coverage*?

If you did know all of the above, you probably already own a policy and are enjoying the benefits of having planned ahead to establish an asset. 😉 Pat yourself on the back, think of those you care most about and consider whether it might be worth their time to have a life insurance check in with Juliet.

Don't worry, you do NOT need to know specifics about their current life insurance. Just simply let them know how you and I met, how I've helped you when it comes to Life Insurance, and let them know that Juliet is offering complimentary life insurance consultations now through 11/30 as a way to bring awareness. No obligations.

It is all too sudden that our loved ones realize they should've looked into coverage, but it's now too late.

A COVID HALLOWEEN
Since trick or treating and big Halloween bashes are likely out this year, many people are coming up with creative alternative ways to celebrate this spooky holiday. Here are a few of our favorite ideas:

1) Have a Halloween movie marathon. Pop some popcorn, grab your drinks and candy, and cuddle up on the couch for a spooky (or not-so-spooky) movie night.
2) Glow in the dark egg hunt. Plastic eggs aren't just for Easter anymore! Fill some glow in the dark eggs with candy (or regular plastic eggs with glow sticks) and hide them throughout the house or backyard for a fun twist on trick or treating!
3) Virtual or socially distanced pumpkin carving. Get together virtually or outside with some friends and carve pumpkins. Give awards for most creative, spookiest, and "well, you tried..."!
Bonus: Check out the CDC's guidelines for a safer holiday celebration and some more ideas for safe Halloween activities!
