CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, JANUARY 24, 2020 – Hardwood Artisans, a Virginia-based bespoke furniture and cabinetry maker, has opened in Charlottesville, Virginia at The Shops at Stonefield. The 2,200 square-foot furniture showroom is located near the corner of Route 29 and Hydraulic Road.

Hardwood Artisans is pleased to welcome Todd Hill to head up the Charlottesville store. Todd, a "C'ville" local and former furniture store owner, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position.

Stonefield's modern architecture and outdoor environment were a major draw for Hardwood Artisans and is one of the premier retail destinations in Charlottesville. A formal grand opening celebration is planned for the Spring.

Founded in 1976, Hardwood Artisans specializes in time honored and traditional Amish joinery techniques, making every piece of solid wood furniture by hand at it's wood shop in Culpeper, VA. Craftsmen skilled in the art of fine furniture design make lifestyle furniture using sustainably sourced hardwoods like red oak, cherry, maple, birch and walnut in a vast selection of styles and finishes. In addition to furniture, Hardwood Artisans makes kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities, and built-ins.
