District Event Instructional Areas!

From DECA Direct:

" For the past few years, DECA has posted online the primary instructional area(s) assessed in each of the district level scenarios to help advisors and members prepare for district competitions more effectively. District competitions often begin early in the school year before advisors have had opportunities to cover all of the instructional areas in the curriculum.

By receiving the instructional areas in advance, members can focus on the instructional areas on which they’ll be assessed at their first level of competition each school year.

Instructional areas for state/provincial and the DECA International Career Development Conference competition will not be announced prior to those competitions. "

Competitive Events Framework
NC-DECA has developed a Competitive Events Framework Crosswalk for you to use in your classroom to prepare your students for events as well as classroom instruction.

Check it out & share it with your students! It is posted on the homepage of NC-DECA.org under 2018-19 Resources on the right hand side.
