A Word from Rev. Ray
God’s Word is clear that all are born spiritually blind and in need of having our eyes opened to the truth. None of us have the means of gaining sight for ourselves, it is a gift of God through the person and work of Jesus Christ.

We are reminded by this account that Jesus knows our hurts and meets us where we are at, in order to take us to a place of complete redemption. He will not stretch our faith more than we can handle, but will tend to our wounds as He reveals more of Himself to us. Through the instance of the blind man being healed at Bethsaida we are given a sweet account of how Jesus opens the eyes of our hearts so that we can see Him more clearly.

In this passage of scripture we encounter something Jesus only ever does once and something he only ever does twice. Come out or tune in on Sunday to find out what those things are.

Blessings,
Rev. Ray

Holy God, we are so very thankful for all those who make up King of Peace. Help us to appreciate our past and realize you are doing a new thing in our midst. We have accepted your call to journey into unknown territory and continue to place our future in Your hands. Guide us by Your Spirit and prepare us for the next steps. May we be one in love and mission. We ask this prayer in the name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
