Dear Beautiful Spirits,
In spiritual work, we often talk about the spiritual themes in our lives.
You may have chosen a spiritual life theme such as justice, creation, value, surrender, wisdom, independence, or others. These themes indicate what areas of understanding you have chosen to really focus the microscope of experience upon.
These varied lenses of emphasis have common threads that always lead us back to the ever creative, infinite, Soul self.
I'll explain my meaning.. Behaviorally people are motivated by punishment or reward. Punishment or reward can be external - such as money or loss of reputation, but it can also exist on other levels of perceived punishment or reward (emotions, or goal attainments).
Some people save money, which reduces their anxiety. Some people surround themselves with relationships that validate them. Some try to control the outside world and circumstances. In these cases, the behavior is brought on by an anxiety and seemingly "solved" by their action, as they are rewarded with a relief in anxiety. This relief, feels good, so the quest continues to do more of what brings on the relief...more control, more validation, more money. But, this relief is inevitably only temporary, because it is based on a lie.
It is founded in the beliefs that many are inundated with as a society, in familial relationships, or in education - I am not good enough, I am not whole, I am not safe. These negative affirmations become whirlpools of
difficulty in their lives as they struggle to prove their wholeness, safety, and goodness - to themselves.
This endless restlessness, hints at something greater..the grand pursuit of true inner peace.
What we see, is that when we move past the hows, whys, what it looks like for each person and get down to brass tacks - the ultimate human desire no matter the theme is the feeling of inner peace and love that comes from unity with our Soul.
Inner peace does not come from outside of ourselves in a physical reality.
Inner peace is found when we tap into the beauty and infinite capacity for peace of the Soul's basic nature, the gift of the Divine Light.
Society's programming is very strong. It is built on the forces of polarity, proving worth, and releasing anxieties. But the solutions to our difficulties do not come from an external construct - no matter how seemingly powerful it may appear to you in the moment.
So I invite you to look within and connect with true inner peace.
Value the things in your life that connect you with the inner peace of your Soul, rather than the temporary relief that comes from programming.
How can this be integrated?
- Create more opportunities to live life from the total peace of the heart.
- Do more of the activities that encourage this connection for you.
Center your life around this, and see the true joy and peace that emerges.
We know that a life centered around relieving anxiety never actually does in the long run. Being 100% Soul-Centered is the next great wave of human potential embodied. Imagine the beauty that is contributed when you live from the place of deep knowing that all is well, you are safe, you are more than enough (and the same for all that you meet)! Imagine the world blessed with the compassion, the kindness, the generosity, humility, and love of your true nature.
Be the change you wish to see in the world!
Many Blessings & Light,
Christina Wooten
