Songwriter Hillary Reynolds Wants Her Debut Solo Album Changing Seasons To Be A Grounding Companion Through Listeners’ Lives

Los Angeles, CA - August 8, 2025 - “I think this song is about dropping into the beauty of the moment and allowing yourself to be present—and choosing to do that over and over and over again,” says Hillary Reynolds about “Changing Seasons,” her latest single and the title track of her debut solo album. That mantra of sorts winds throughout Changing Seasons, an album meant to go along with morning routines, to ease listeners into a new day, and a grounding meditation before whatever chaos may ensue. “I didn’t want this album to change your life,” Reynolds says. “I want it to be your companion through it.”

Out now, Changing Seasons finds the already-successful songwriter bridging the gap between her life “before” and “after.” Reynolds began writing this collection more than five years ago, and is, to put it bluntly, not the same person anymore. “I already felt like a different person on the other side of the pandemic, but motherhood also threw me for a loop,” she says, at the time unsure if she’d even finish Changing Seasons, much less continue her career as a musician and songwriter. Fortunately, for Reynolds and fans of her songs, her call of inspiration was answered and, like her, profoundly transformed by life’s chaos and charms.
