The Sonoma County Law Enforcement Association (SCLEA) is reaching out to our community and PORAC law enforcement family to help support the family of one of our members.

On Thanksgiving eve, while off-duty, Kat Pringle, a Park Ranger with the Sonoma County Regional Parks Department was the victim of a murder-suicide.

Kat was a dedicated and caring mother, co-worker and friend to many. She loved spending time with family, friends and their pets.

She attended the National Parks Service Academy in 2017, was an E.M.T and a P.O.S.T certified Defensive Tactics instructor. Kat was known for her passion and commitment in serving our community as a Park Ranger.

She leaves behind her 22-year-old son, sister, family and friends.

Your donations will go to help her son and family while they pay for her funeral costs and adjust to their sudden reality of a life without her. Your donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration.

All requests for Fund a Hero campaigns must align with the mission and tax-exempt purposes of POREF and be authorized by a PORAC affiliated association. Funds will be distributed directly to the designated Association officer. All campaigns will automatically terminate when the goal amount has been reached or 60 days after the campaign becomes active, whichever comes first.
