Idealists dream of a perfect world—a world of peace and harmony, where all reflects the beauty of Divine life. Can such a world of beauty be contemplated as a possibility? Mystical awareness knows that what may seem to be idealistic wanderings of the imagination might be glimpses into a Higher Reality.

Anything of a true Higher Reality brings one’s mind closer to Universal Consciousness or God. There are many levels of Beingness and souls that correspond to each level, and the Christ Mind that was in Jesus alluded to this Mystical Reality of Beingness in the words, “In my Father’s house are many mansions.” At each higher level souls draw nearer and nearer to the Universal Creative Presence or God.

Higher Consciousness Meditation



For many years, Dr. Paul Leon Masters taught students the practice of higher consciousness and mystical meditation in his classes. Being divinely guided, he brought forth many new and innovative techniques and practices of meditation.

In everyday life, every physical perception has other vibratory levels that are usually unperceived by your physical senses. There are vibrational frequency energies on a psychic, ethereal, astral, mental, and mystical level. In Dr. Masters’ voice, there are usually undetected frequencies of high spiritual energies transmitted to corresponding energy frequencies in your own higher levels of mind and awareness, stimulating them into activity.

The higher vibrational frequencies in Dr. Masters’ voice come as the result of years of going into the higher levels of his consciousness during meditation, in which he has personally experienced practically all states of meditative consciousness, which you may have heard or read about in various schools of thought, such as Yoga, Alchemy, Theosophy, Self-Realization, Vedanta, Religious Science, Unity, and Mysticism.

A sacred, purifying, and empowering event took place at our University Administrative Office

We are grateful to be able to share with you a

sacred clearing and blessing ceremony given by

the Tibetan Buddhist Monks of the Gaden Shartse Monastery



On Friday, April 11th, 2025, the University of Metaphysics and University of Sedona was blessed with a visit from the Monks of Gaden Shartse Monastery from Mungod. Originally from Tibet, nearly one hundred thousand Tibetans followed His Holiness the Dalai Lama into India, where they continue their work and share their light far and wide.

In a sacred hour-long ceremony, they blessed the past, present, and future of the IMM, including anyone connected or associated with our ministry and educational system throughout the world. In this remarkable experience, a sacred benediction and blessing was given to heal, protect, and enhance positive energy, prosperity, and life for all. The blessings they brought deeply touched us and were greatly appreciated.

Their visit reminded us of a core fundamental principle of the IMM, as instituted by our founder, Dr. Paul Leon Masters: “The IMM welcomes and respects the beliefs of a wide variety of worldwide faiths. Moreover, we recognize that there are many paths to truth, higher consciousness, spiritual reality, and God/Source.” The monk’s visit was a part of that celebratory inclusion.

We want to thank each and every one of our students and graduates for the work you are doing, because together, we can all make the world a better place!

Most of our staff members were present except for Dr. Monica Brillhart, Angie Ringel, and Steven Taylor. They were missed.

Please Note: As of March 1, 2025, the annual IMM affiliation has increased to $97 for one year and $177 for two years.

Also, this advance notice is given to allow our members time to activate their ministerial credentials (to ensure good standing with the IMM) if they have taken a hiatus or want to resume their studies. You will find the expiration date on your card.

My academic experience at the University of Metaphysics has been exceptional. Sharing my experience is a Pleasure!

Though the University is far, I sensed a genuine presence on a daily basis. To begin, I took a sabbatical from my personal and professional obligations when I opted to pursue my PhD at this university, as obtaining a PhD degree has always been a goal of mine. I returned to India in 2003 after earning my Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. At that time, I began applying for PhDs; however, despite receiving a seat back in the UK, I was unable to consider it because the scholarship was quite small and we could not afford to pursue it. I literally forgot about it over time.

Given this opportunity again, with an 80% scholarship, and the fact that I am now a different person with a subject of interest that exactly matches my chosen interest, it pierced my heart, and I chose to go for it with the mindset of "Now or Never!!"

The challenge was not only studying for and passing the PhD, but also going through the full procedure step by step. Yes, first study and pass the B.Msc, then the M.Msc, and finally the PhD.

I only saw myself submitting my PhD dissertation from the day I started with Module-1 in the B.Msc syllabus onward. That means I didn't know I hadn't taken a break from my studies. God's presence was palpable throughout this journey.

Yes, It was Indeed a journey of Self Discovery. When I experienced a setback, Michelle held me, and then Dr. Jordan appeared, leading me wherever I needed support and advice. I felt the same way about everyone I've encountered with at this university; they're all so knowledgeable, friendly, and empathetic, and they're always willing to help and guide.

Thank you, Dr. Masters, for establishing this University for me. And I felt guided by my Heavenly Father in discovering this University for me. Thank you, Michelle, Dr. Jordan, and all of the amazing people at this University.
