Friday, September 4 | 5 - 7 PM

Cape Ann Cosmos Gallery, 20 Pleasant St., Gloucester

From the Renaissance through Impressionism and abstraction, artists have interpreted the landscape. In contemporary painting, the landscape may remain recognizable—or become only the point of departure. LANDINGS 3 VISIONS brings together three accomplished New England artists whose paintings explore the territory between observation and interpretation. Land, sea, forests, rocks, harbors, boats, and the built environment provide subjects, but the artists’ individual ways of seeing—and painting—transform them. Learn More
