Take Action: Certify 14(c) Status by Aug. 19

The U.S. AbilityOne Commission has prohibited the use of 14(c) certificates under the Fair Labor Standards Act on AbilityOne Program contracts effective Oct. 19, 2022. As a result, all AbilityOne authorized providers in the SourceAmerica network are required to certify their 14(c) status on AbilityOne contracts by Aug. 19, 2022. Failure to certify by the deadline risks noncompliance. Take action today; visit the 14(c) Final Rule Certification Instruction page on the Extranet to learn more.

Requests for Exceptions to Overall Direct Labor Hour Ratio Requirements

AbilityOne authorized providers having difficulty achieving the 75% statutory overall direct labor hour ratio requirement by the end of FY2022 may request an exception. The U.S. AbilityOne Commission has extended the request deadline to Aug. 31. Details are available on AbilityOne.gov. If you previously inquired about a limited exception but have not completed and returned the required spreadsheet, you must do so by the deadline.

Email RegulatoryInfo@SourceAmerica.org with your agency’s request or questions and include “Limited Ratio Exception – NPA Name” in the subject line.
