Now Open! 2022 Laptop Donation Program


Starting today, producing nonprofits in the SourceAmerica network are eligible to obtain up to five laptops while supplies last. We periodically donate refreshed, out-of-warranty laptops to NPAs on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: Priority will be given to NPAs that did not receive laptops in the Oct. 2021 donation cycle. The 2022 application period is open now through Friday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. ET. Apply now! News from the U.S. AbilityOne Commission


On Oct. 12, President Joe Biden announced his intent to appoint seven people to the U.S. AbilityOne Commission. The White House announcement is available online, including information about each individual. On Oct. 13, the Commission announced that Stefania Pozzi Porter has been named Inspector General.


The Commission will host its quarterly public meeting on Oct. 25, from 1 – 4 p.m. ET. The meeting will occur via Zoom webinar. Details can be found in the Federal Register.

NPA Recommendation Process Updates 


The U.S. AbilityOne Commission’s final rule regarding the prohibition of 14(c) certificate use on AbilityOne contracts begins Oct. 19. In response, SourceAmerica released a revised NPA Recommendation Process Procedure to address key updates, including clarification about eligibility criteria, Lost Projects analysis, and more.


SourceAmerica updated the Response Submission Form for AbilityOne opportunities regarding requirements as they relate to past performance/project experience. NPAs can now submit separate attachments via the Portal. Please carefully review prompts and instructions.

Annual Reps and Certs is Now Open


Don’t delay – submit your Representations and Certifications form by Nov. 1 at 11:59 p.m. ET. All Quarterly Employment Report data for Q1-Q4 must be approved by SourceAmerica before completing Reps and Certs.


Failure to meet the deadline may impact your eligibility for participation in the AbilityOne Program. NPAs may not reopen QERs or Reps and Certs after

Nov. 1.

AbilityOne File Requirements - Disability Documentation and the IEE


This webinar will review the documentation needed to certify individuals employed through the AbilityOne Program. Using the Individual Eligibility Evaluation, participants will learn what information is required for proper documentation of employees with significant disabilities, counting toward the nonprofit agency direct labor ratio. The IEE documents how an employee’s disability impacts his/her ability to participate fully in the competitive job market.
