Check Eligibility and Apply for 2026 SoCalGas Business Equipment Rebates

The Energy Efficiency Rebates for Business (EERB) program offers rebates on qualifying energy-efficient natural gas equipment that could help your business save money and energy. Any commercial, public, industrial or agricultural customer with an active, valid and non-delinquent SoCalGas account can apply for a rebate under the EERB program.

Discover Water Conservation Rebates and Programs

Golden State Water Company (Golden State Water) encourages customers to use water responsibly and offers several conservation rebates and programs, including landscaping assistance and free water aerators. To help improve water-use efficiency and control water bills, our partners at Golden State Water provide programs and incentives to help residential and commercial customers use water more efficiently and protect its availability for current and future generations.

California’s Non-Functional Turf Ban: What You Need to Know and How West Basin Can Help

In October 2023, Governor Newsom signed into law AB 1572, legislation that bans the use of potable water on non-functional turf on public agencies, commercial, industrial, and institutional, and homeowner association common area properties. The policy defines “functional turf” as turf or grass located in a recreational use area or community space. The policy takes effect in phases beginning in 2027, with commercial properties needing to meet compliance by January 1, 2028.

To help businesses prepare, our partners at West Basin offer resources for businesses, including grass replacement rebates and free landscape design services.

Supports Los Angeles Businesses

The County of Los Angeles administers the Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN) to bring together a wide variety of services with one common goal: achieving unprecedented levels of energy savings throughout Southern California.

The SoCalREN provides services to residents, businesses, and public agencies throughout the areas served by Southern California Edison (SCE) and/or SoCalGas.

The SoCalREN Commercial Sector team supports small businesses in hard-to-reach communities within the SoCalREN territory. Programs aim to reduce energy costs, increase access to energy efficiency benefits, and support local economies by prioritizing access and community development.

Learn practical, cost-effective strategies to improve energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction for your business

SBCCOG staff are meeting with businesses to provide resources, guidance and to support the implementation of sustainable strategies. This work can lead to certification through the California Green Business Network (CAGBN), which provides resources and technical assistance to California businesses. Learn more about the CAGBN.

Small to medium businesses in the following cities can participate: Carson, El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Inglewood, Lawndale, Lomita, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills Estates and Torrance.

Also supporting local businesses are the apprenticeship programs offered by the South Bay Workforce Investment Board, available throughout the South Bay. Find out more.
