SCRA Announces New Member Companies and Grant Funding

DRAHOLA Technologies, Heirloom Cloud, Lynk-ed, and Rapid Title were accepted as South Carolina Research Authority Member Companies. Apex Orthopaedic Technologies and Real Motors received new grant funding.

All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching, access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network, eligibility to apply for grant funding, and the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc. Read more.

Grand Opening of the Harbor Entrepreneur Center 

The Harbor Entrepreneur Center hosted its grand opening in Mount Pleasant with hundreds in attendance. Bob Quinn, SCRA executive director, cut the ribbon and participated in the future of Charleston innovation panel presented by DIG SOUTH. The new location at 11 Ewall Street features 40,000+ sq’ of collaborative space to inspire, educate and elevate entrepreneurial organizations, venture capital investment, and innovation. SCRA’s FY24 SACT Grant Program champions the vital role of all Institutions of Higher Education in creating a sustainable framework for and accelerating the pace of translational/use-inspired research, technology development, and commercialization.
