SC Launch Inc. Invests in Pixlmob

SCRA's investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc., has invested in Pixlmob. The $200,000 investment will help the Greenville-based startup continue growing its company, which provides an easier way for real estate photographers and videographers to list high-quality property images.

Pixlmob became an SCRA Member Company in July 2022 and received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. They became an SC Launch Inc. Portfolio Company with this investment. Read more.

Five SCRA Companies Win 2023 Innovision Awards

InnoVision Awards held its annual awards celebration last week, and it was an incredible night celebrating the innovators we have across the state, with four SCRA companies taking home awards. Pensievision, an SCRA Member Company, was crowned the winner of the technology development category. BagValet, an SCRA Member Company, took home the small business award. Notey, an SCRA Member Company, won the education award. Carolina Seed Systems, an SCRA Member Company, captured the sustainability award. Sean Powers and Brett Nilsen, founders of Copyt, an SCRA Member Company, took home the Ibrahim Janajreh Young Innovator award. Read more.

Tim Davis Recognized at 100th SC Launch Inc. Board Meeting

Board Director Tim Davis is retiring from the SC Launch Inc. board when his term ends at the beginning of next year. Chairwoman Andrea Marshall, J.D. thanked Davis for his years of service mentoring the startups in the Launch program and for his expertise in investment decision-making meetings. Read more.
