CORE SC Announces Grant Funding Opportunities

This funding is managed and administered through the South Carolina Space Grant Consortium and the NASA EPSCoR Program at the College of Charleston Grants Management office.

The goals of the CORE SC Advanced Research Grant and the Advanced Collaboration Projects Grant are to provide funding for up to one (1) year to organizations interested in conducting applied research on resilience sectors. Successful proposals will advance the program’s mission of providing solutions to resilience challenges, making significant contributions in one or more of the resilience sectors – Water, Energy, Connectivity, Agriculture, and Natural Hazards (WE CAN) and align with one or more of NASA’s missions. PulManage Offers Remote Monitoring for Lung Disease Patients

PulManage, Inc, an SCRA Member Company, was recently featured by the Columbia Regional Business Report. PulManage is a technology company that offers remote monitoring for patients with chronic lung disease, with a particular focus on COPD.

PulManage offers a mobile app that enables patients to monitor their symptoms and lung function measured through a Bluetooth spirometry device and transmits their real-time data to the medical team through a secure web-based portal to monitor their condition remotely. Read more.
