Small Business Saturday Sail
November 25, 2017
After you've stuffed yourself on turkey, come work some of it off by trimming sails! Enjoy an afternoon out on Galveston Bay.  This relaxed environment is perfect for all sailing skill levels. Not a sailor? Not a problem!  Relax and enjoy the day socializing with other sailors on the water.  Plus you'll be supporting this small business on Small Business Saturday! After the sail, come back up to the patio for dinner! We'll provide the main dish.  We ask that everyone bring an  appetizer, side dish, or desert to share.  All homemade dishes will be entered into the Culinary Delight Contest, with a prize being awarded for the winning recipe. BYOB.

December 8-17 or December 2-9 or December 2-17, 2017

The BVI flotilla is on! Join us as we sail the "Christmas Winds" and help boost their economy with our tourism.

T he  stunning 55+ islands and cays that comprise the British Virgin Islands have two fantastic assets-accessibility and virgin beauty.  Known for years as a "sailor's paradise," cruising sailors were among the first to realize this truly was one of  Nature's  little  secrets.

Space is still available! We have reserved two beautiful catamarans: a brand new 2018 Fountain Pajot Saona 47 and a Sunsail 444 Leopard 44' Premier!

Is one week just not enough? We've got extended dates available! Captain Lucy, our flotilla leader, will be going a week earlier to check out the sights starting December 2nd and has space available then as well. Come join us for one or both weeks!

Club Fun!
A big thank you to all of those who have made it out to the club sails (whether you are club member or not)! We love spending time with our South Coast Sailing family!  Be sure to check out the sails coming up and let's get you out on the water!

The Sip 'n' Sail was quite a hit! The sailors went out on  Moonlight Serenade for half a day charter and afterwards, came up to the patio to enjoy some savory beef tenderloin grilled by "Chef John." The homemade sides brought were delicious! For "dessert" we had our own little wine tasting and the favorite turned out to be Texas Tempranillo! (No surprise since everything is better in Texas, right?)

The "W ürst" Club Sail Ever was anything but the worst! After a half day sail upon Solstice, everyone enjoyed some tasty bratw ürst in true Oktoberfest style. In addition to German food, two of the sailors brought some Peruvian dishes! They were quite the hit and their beef stew they called "Seca" won first place in the Culinary Delight Contest!

Holiday is cozy with two private staterooms that gives you room to accommodate up to 4 passengers.  Her  galley  is  equipped  with a
gimbaled stove, microwave, and a refrigerator/freezer.  The L-shaped settee and bench give seating for up to 6.
