The Dwelling

Join us for  The Dwelling on September 22! This is a time of informal, intimate worship and prayer. We will sing a few worship songs, pray for our church and for each other, observe the Lord's Supper, and end with some time to hang out and chat! All ages are welcome! See you there!

  • Church-wide requests will be published on paper for our Wednesday night church-wide prayer time and here in the e-newsletter.

  • If you are making a request concerning someone else, make sure you have their permission to share their request.

U-Haul In the Parking Lot!

Benefits Bridge of Faith Community Church

Bridge of Faith, one of our mission partners, runs a thrift store as part of their ministry. It benefits their community by providing needed low-cost items, and it provides the church with opportunities for ministry and evangelism.

There will be a U-Haul in our parking lot to collect donations of items to sell in their thrift store. Any kind of garage sale-type items are welcome—furniture, household items, kitchen appliances, clothing, etc. (No TVs or computer monitors, please!)
Note: Please do not bring items prior to October 12th!

Ladies, get a group of friends together and plan to attend a weekend event with speaker, best-selling author, & Bible study teacher Jennifer Rothschild . She will be joined by Angie Smith, author & speaker; Tammy Trent, author, singer, & songwriter; and Michael O'Brien, worship leader (former lead singer for Newsong).

Tickets are discounted through October 7th and are discounted even further if purchased in a group of 10 or more.

Ladies' Book Share & Prayer
All South Gate ladies are invited to join the Book Share and Prayer Group that meets 9 months each year to discuss Christian fiction and nonfiction books. In addition, they have prayer and fellowship around the table with delicious refreshments. Their first Book Share will be Thursday, September 12, at 6 pm, at the home of Lou Paul. They we will be discussing  Atlas Girl  by Emily T. Wierenga. This book is now in the church library. For this first meeting, there will be a salad supper, so plan to bring a salad, sandwiches, or dessert to share.

Garage Sale for The Baptist Home

There will be a garage sale to benefit residents at The Baptist Home in Ozark, helping to provide for enriching activities and outings. If you would like to donate items for this sale, price them, and then bring them to FBC Ozark on Thursday, October 10 between 9 am & 4 pm. (No TVs, mattresses, or large appliances.)

If you left something at church, stop by the Lost & Found and pick it up!

It's located in the workroom on the shelf on the back wall! The workroom is the first door on the left as you leave the fellowship hall headed toward the office area.

South Gate has a policy regarding animals on the SG campus.

We encourage you to enjoy your coffee, other beverages, or food items in the Fellowship Hall! Please do not bring drinks (other than water) or food items into the Worship Center! Thank you!
If you become ill or injured while at church, please alert any staff member, teacher, or Security/Medical team member. They will call for the on-call medical person to assist/refer as needed.
Help us out!  

1) Please let your Life Group leader or the church office know if you or someone in your family is experiencing hospitalization or a death or birth within the family. Our ministers and deacons want to care and pray for you.

Salvation, spiritual transformation, or health concerns that you want to be listed on the weekly prayer sheet need to be submitted by Wednesday noon. This is not a confidential document, therefore, please ask permission from the person before sharing their need. Contact the church office anytime if you have an urgent need.
