The Township of South Glengarry is excited to announce the "12 Days of Christmas Giveaways" campaign, encouraging our community to support local businesses this holiday season.


From December 1 to 12, shop at local stores and dine at local restaurants to enter to win a $50 gift certificate daily!


To enter:

1. Take a selfie with your purchase (either in front of a store or while dining).

2. Tag the Township of South Glengarry on Facebook or Instagram.

3. Use the hashtag #SUPPORTLOCALSG.


You will be automatically entered into a random draw. The winner's name will be announced the next weekday at 10:00 a.m. on Facebook and Instagram.

As a business owner, carving out time to clear your thoughts and focus on your business is not easy. We’re organizing this workshop to help you do just that.


You will participate in a step-by-step process to zero in on what you want out of your business in 2024:


  • You’ll get to look back on the past year. Celebrate the wins; recall the lessons.
  • Then you'll focus on how do you really want to feel with your business. What do you need to stop? Where do you need to stay the course? And what new directions do you want to explore?
  • You also will map out what do you want from those around you. You always take care of everyone else's needs... But what do YOU need for support, both at home, in the business and outside the business?


Cost: $249.00 + HST

Funding and Grants

FedDev Regional Homebuilding Innovation Initiative


If your business is developing new homebuilding materials or techniques this program may interest you.


Priority may be given to businesses and/or organizations applying for projects that:


  • Increase productivity or output in manufacturing and construction technology (e.g., modular and/or pre-fabricated housing, panelized construction, 3D printing, etc.).
  • Promote innovation, demonstration, commercialization and/or updates of new materials/methods for homebuilding.
  • Support the development of industry tools that accelerate homebuilding innovation through improvement/adoption of off-site manufacturing technologies and practices.


Funding usually ranges from $500,000 to $2 million for a fully repayable interest-free loan with matching requirements.


Applications are accepted from October 22 to December 20, at 4:59 p.m. EST

Regional Incentive Program

Are you planning a business expansion, diversification, or making improvements in 2025? Learn about SDG Counties' Regional Incentives Program (RIP) that provides matching grants for qualified projects that:

  1. Stimulate investment in tourism and agri-tourism
  2. Encourage redevelopment and private sector investment in existing building stock
  3. Increase the amount of permanent roofed accommodations


Now is the time to prepare your application if you want to submit it in January/February 2025. Maximum funding is $50,000 per project. Reach out today to see if your project may qualify:
