S. Paul Mazza III addresses the CBICC membership and community leaders at the CentreREADY inaugural launch event
We're proud to be one of the school leaders who has partnered with the  Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County  (CBICC) to launch a new, collaborative initiative to help build a stronger local workforce.

CentreREADY is designed to address the core and technical skills gap among the workforce – an issue faced not only by employers in Centre County but all over the country.

Leadership from South Hills signed a memorandum of understanding pledging that, as we implement CentreREADY, we will offer 21st century workforce skills experiences as part of our curriculum offerings, with a focus on 6 core attributes:

• work ethic
• tactfulness/manners
• teamwork
• communication
• critical thinking/problem solving
• understanding supervision and the world of work
For this installment of our Bright Outlook Occupations series,
we're taking a look at Software Developers .

Software Developers play a key role in the design, installation,
analysis, and maintenance of computer programs and
applications as well as software systems.
