South Lake Avenue Pedestrian Lighting Project
On May 15, 2023, the City of Pasadena awarded the Lake Avenue Pedestrian Access Improvements Project to Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc. The portion of this project corresponding to South Lake Avenue was originally approved by the City of Pasadena Council in 2007 and includes the installation of pedestrian lighting along South Lake Avenue. Project funding was recently secured and construction is scheduled to occur September 2023 through May 2024. The South Lake Business Association, in partnership with the City of Pasadena, has been a long time advocate of this project to improve lighting along South Lake Avenue and add vibrancy to this thriving area.
