This is our 20th Anniversary Loft Walk! To celebrate the occasion, we will be doing a special "Deck the Halls" version of the Loft Walk.

If you're proud of your loft and how you've decorated it, don't keep it a secret! Show off a little!

We are looking for residences to feature on our annual Loft Walk. We are also in need of volunteers.

Willing to feature your loft or willing to volunteer? Send an email to  loftwalk@southloopneighbors.org

DEVELOPMENT

River City Condo Deconversion
After four tries and months of uncertainty, it looks like River City will be deconverted from condos to apartments after all. The required 75 percent of owners have voted to accept an offer from Marc Realty for the 448-unit complex.

Dearborn Cycleway Delineators
Work is underway to build raised curbs and islands that will better delineate the two-way cycleway and parking areas on Dearborn Street. Work should be substantially complete next week, though repaving may be coordinated with other work in the area.

Roots Pizza for Polk & Dearborn
Roots Pizza has shown renderings to Ald. King and to the city's Landmarks Division for a two-story restaurant building to be built on the lot just south of the New Franklin Building. The new building would be similar in scale and brick color to the house under construction across the street.

1802 S. State St.
Construction on this small condo development is under way, now that the developers have secured their loan.
