The Bugle will be sent biweekly on Tuesdays at 2PM. The deadline for materials to be included in them will be the preceding Sunday.

RVCC AGM Set for April 24, 2017agm

All are welcome at the AGM. 

A volunteer appreciation event will preceed the AGM. Volunteers at the RVCC will receive an invitation via email in the near future.

RV Lounge Open Micopenmic

Long time residents, John Hodgert, Doug Gibb (and friends) will be hosting an open mic venue called the RV LOUNGE out of the main floor lounge at Riverview Community Club.

When: April 11 & 25 (Doors at 7PM - performances 7:30-9:30PM)

For the last couple of years, Hodgert and Gibb have been hosting the CD Lounge open mic at a local restaurant. The space there is no longer available, so the guys are bringing the show to the Club for a two date trial run!

The expectation is that the RV Lounge setting will be relaxing and non-competitive, and that the crowds will supportive. The performers will be able to take a chance - to get up and let people know what they have to offer!

The event is open to musicians, poets, storytellers, comics, and what-you-wills - and fans of all of those.

The canteen will be stocked with drinks and treats, and the welcome will be warm.

Hatha Yoga

Explore various yoga postures to help you unwind from your day in this hatha style yoga class. Improve your posture, coordination, strength and core stability, while being conscious of your breath.  All levels welcome.

All proceeds go to supporting the three Syrian Refugee families sponsored by SOSRI and CPUC as they integrate into Canadian life - things most of us don't have to think about at all.  All 3 families (13 family members) have settled in the South Osborne area. They are working hard to learn English and are eager to find work, become self-sufficient, and contributing members of our community.
