The Work of BRIDGE

The BRIDGE leadership team and providers from around the state were trained in the DC 0-5 Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood. This was the first time the DC 0-5 training was offered in Maryland. BRIDGE and MCF will host a follow-up event to engage parents in conversations about assessment and diagnosis (see flyer below). In order to comply with SAMHSA's regulations for early childhood Systems of Care new protocols have been developed for each BRIDGE agency to assess and diagnose children upon intake.
