Dear Southern Reins Family,
October has been an incredible and busy month for Southern Reins! We could not have achieved so much without the unwavering support of our amazing volunteers, participants, staff, and generous donors who bring our programs to life. Thank you all for being a vital part of our mission.
Our 3rd Annual Southern Supper at Memphis Country Club is just around the corner, and we hope you can join us on Thursday, November 21! Presented by Kimery Wealth Management, the evening promises Southern hospitality, a savory family-style meal, a delightful cocktail hour with our therapy pony, Clyde, fantastic music from The Bonfire Orchestra, and an exciting silent auction - all in support of our mission. We look forward to having you join us as part of this unforgettable event!
This month, we have had the pleasure of connecting with remarkable groups, including a field trip visit from Concord Academy, a retreat for the Rhodes College Bonner Scholar Program, and a volunteer outreach event at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Volunteer Fair. We also had a fantastic time at the Joni and Friends Barnyard Bash with Clyde. We are immensely grateful for these opportunities and everyone who makes these visits possible.
We are excited to welcome the newest member of our herd - Atlas! This gentle and lovable boy has already begun serving our participants, and we are thrilled to have him at Southern Reins! Additionally, we collected your generous donations to help those affected by Hurricane Helene, filling trucks with essential items. Your contributions make a significant impact, and we are so thankful to provide relief to those in need.
Lastly, we are pleased to announce that our fall gear order has arrived, and items are ready for pick up in the Administrative Office Building! Be sure to stop by and get your Southern Reins gear to be ready for the cooler temperatures ahead.
