  Smooth, contemporary blues with a message for soul salvation paints Steve Antry's debut album as an easy-listening approach. His song interpretations work their magic on the human spirit as blues tunes have done forever, and he does so with a smooth texture employing guitars, keyboards, and his pleasant voice. Antry speaks clearly as he tells of salvation and how to achieve that in our lifetime. The songs come from various sources and shine a contemporary message on the audience with wonder.
     "Fishin'" tells of pleasant daydreams where society's evils remain out of mind, whereas "Devil's Gone Fishin'" tells of temptation and the need to work things right every day of the year. "Get Up" offers a message of motivation that is sorely needed by us all from time to time. A spiritual coach is surely as important to one's body as an athletic trainer is. Here, Antry takes the opportunity to lift spirits with his positive message.
   A precious highlight of the album comes with "Borrowed Angels," which allows Antry to tell of the good feeling that exists all around us eternally if only we'll look for it, find it, and allow the mood to stay for keeps.
