Southport Navigation Lock Returns to Service

WHAT: 
The S-61 navigation lock, also known as the Southport Lock, is returning to service.
 
WHEN: 
Service will begin at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 24. The navigation lock's normal operating hours will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the week, and 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the weekend.
 
WHERE:
The lock is located on the south end of Lake Tohopekaliga. It allows boats to access the C-35 Canal, which flows south into Cypress Lake.
