Greetings to the Southwest Chapter,
Below you will find a link to a zoom room to be used for the Southwest Chapter meeting on Sunday March 20 at 2:00 pm.
We will gather virtually instead of in person. Hopefully people will stay in their homes and join from their own device.
Zoom can be used on computers and phones/tablets as long as the device is able to support the app. If you do not have a device that supports Zoom, you can still participate by calling in from a phone.
A few tips on using Zoom:
- For the best meeting experience, individuals should each log in Zoom separately from a computer with a camera and microphone. Mute your microphone when you are listening only, and unmute yourself when you wish to speak. Using a computer headset will improve your ability to hear and be heard. If you do not have a headset, it is important to situate yourself in a quiet room with little background noise. If your audio is not good, you may want to consider muting your computer audio and using a phone to dial into the meeting. If using a phone, consider using headphones to optimize your voice and minimize background noise.
- If you do not have access to a computer, you can still participate by phone by dialing one of the phone numbers listed above. Use headphones if you have them, or move to a quiet room. You can mute or unmute your phone during the meeting by entering the command *6
- For those participating as a group, you will need to do your best to situate yourselves so everyone is on camera. Mute your microphone when not speaking to minimize background noise. When someone wishes to speak, unmute your microphone and move close to the camera and microphone so other participants will be able to see and hear you more clearly.
