Webinar: The Courage to Connect and the Stewardship of Relationships

November 11 at 7 pm

Dr. Nick Wilkens, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC-S, Deacon (ELCA), will present The Courage to Connect and the Stewardship of Relationships in a webinar. We live in a world where loneliness and disconnection affect people of all ages, including those within our congregations. As part of the Southwestern Texas Synod's Relationship, Relationship, Relationship stewardship emphasis, this interactive webinar will explore the generosity of presence, the courage to listen, and the practical ways we can nurture relationships where people feel seen, heard, understood, and valued.

September Mission Support Memo

Our September 2026 Mission Support Memo celebrates the new ministry of Bethlehem Arabic Lutheran Church in our Pacifica Synod. This ministry is deeply grateful that God has brought together Palestinians, Iraqis, Syrians, Jordanians, Lebanese, plus many others, connecting various faiths and creating one community where everyone can find hope, belonging, and the grace of Jesus Christ. Read about how the work is hard, it takes time, and demands a deep faith in God, a belief that there are no limits to God’s blessings and knowing we are all part of the same kingdom of God.
