The Stewardship of Relationships


Making your congregation the most loving church family it can possibly be is all about relationships. Asking the right questions of each other: What brings you joy? What are you passionate about? What inspires your generosity? What gives your life purpose and meaning? Whether in worship, study or fellowship settings, a congregation that affords its members many opportunities to share their life stories will develop a greater sense of love and belonging. The dividends will be tremendous in terms of attendance, active involvement in ministries, and in giving of time, talent and treasure.

American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians are the Indigenous people who first inhabited the territory of the United States. For our nation and our church, we must recognize the history, cultures, languages and traditions of the first keepers of this land. Indigenous Peoples’ Day honors the contributions, resilience and sovereignty of the tribal nations of Indigenous people.
