Get Involved

We are inviting people to video-record themselves reading the Daily Word for playback at Sunday service. Karen will be maintaining a schedule in the office. Please contact her at if you would like to be part of the service by reading the Daily Word. You can click on the link below to read the schedule to date.

Here's how it works: You will receive the text for the Daily Word for the Sunday you choose, you record it on your phone and send the video via email. Your video will be incorporated into the Sunday Service!

Once you select your date, and have the Daily Word for that day, you can record yourself and send it in to the office. You do not need to wait. The recording will be stored to be played on your day of choice.

We are now open to the public without reservations. If you would like to read the Daily Word live in our Sunday service, please contact Karen in the office with the date you choose!

This year’s change is to a 3-night event, Friday-Monday, Sept 17-20.

We have 3 villas. Cost is $220 with 5 or $290 with 4. One villa is filled, so we have 6 openings, plus we can check on motel rooms if there is an interest.

Email Ginny Stanglein if interested or 610-217-8827. Payment is due upon reservation. Further details as we get closer to September. Ride sharing is encouraged.
Office Closed
Our office administrator, Karen Esbensen, will be having surgery on May 14th. Please keep her in your prayers for a quick recovery. The office will be closed as of May 14th and will reopen on May 25th. All messages will be answered at that time.
Thank you to Charley Thweatt for his uplifting message and music on Sunday.

Thank you to Jo Sieger for being the Platform Assistant and reading the Daily Word on Sunday.

Our ongoing thanks to the AV team!
The Power of Prayer
By Rev Sandra Campbell
Just as when we are silent, we are still sending a message, I’ve learned that when we are not speaking, we are still praying. Our prayers are as constant and fruitful as our thoughts.
Unity and Race: A Truthful History
This article was edited by Rev. Ellen Debenport with contributions from CEO Jim Blake, UWH board members Revs. Sandra Campbell and Charline Manuel, and diversity officer Alexandra Scott.
Mistakes, Apologies, and Actions Through the Years

The first step is to admit you have a problem.

In the past century, Unity officials have periodically acknowledged the organization’s failures and shortcomings concerning racial equality. Some have apologized. Some have taken a few steps toward improvement.
