From Generation to Generation

Psalms 78:4 asks a question... Should we withhold from this generation the deeds, knowledge and power of God?

There is a generation hungry for Truth and the authentic things of God. It is our responsibility to carry the word, presence and power of God in our lives to be the aroma that testifies of who He is to this generation.

Heaven has an aroma, a fragrance that is specific and testifies to the presence and atmosphere of the Kingdom of God. In our identity as believers, in our actions and deeds an aroma of heaven emanates.

While in Kansas City in October 2023 we learned about a fragrance called "Creed" We had never heard about this before. Originally, the House of Creed (since 1760) made this fragrance specific for Kings. Later on for other nobility. It was custom blended and specific for each person, made only of the finest of hand picked natural ingredients, never to be duplicated. The smell was specific only to that one person. Their tag line says "From Generation to Generation". Today they are in the 5th generation n the House of Creed continuing the legacy.

We carry the same calling in our lives, to bring from our generation to the next generation the aroma of Christ which testifies of His Presence as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. AMEN!

Heaven's Aroma

We were at the "Hungry for God" conference, not in a ministry capacity and it was Apostle Bertelli's birthday, so we gifted him a bottle of Creed. We shared with him about the "House of Creed" story and the meaning behind the gift. That is was a gift to prophetically represent the role he is playing in being an aroma of heaven to this generation across all of Brazil and the nations of the world. He said, you've got to share this meaning of being the aroma later in the service. We did and the glory came into the room. The leadership team went throughout the auditorium praying for all the people. There came heaven's aroma in... freedom, deliverance, healing and people were being baptized in the Holy Spirit. POWERFUL moment.

Womb of the Nation Conference

This is the 6th year that Avivar Church in Porto Seguro has hosted this annual conference called "Womb of the Nation." Porto Seguro is considered the birthplace of Brazil. It is where the Portuguese first came ashore and began to establish their presence.

There is a natural and spiritual womb that carries promise and births life. Brazil is coming into a great season of revival that carries the heart and fire of God for this generation. In this past year we have witnessed a great move of God on the children and youth. It is something supernatural! It is common in most services to see the hunger and desire of the young as they come up to the front weeping and prostrate in cries before the Lord. Or during a service to see them on the floor by their seats just weeping.

It was the our 3rd time to preach during the conference and Débora and I were at the pulpit set to minister. Débora began to worship in song and then the atmosphere shifted. I had a message ready to give and then I found myself out on the floor next to the pulpit and Débora ended up preaching. I had no idea what she spoke, but when Débora turned the microphone over to me an hour later, the unction of the Holy Spirit led me to call those suffering in their marriage up for prayer. The altar flooded with the couples, perhaps 20+ easy. A great move of God swept over them as they confessed to one another and forgave. Strongholds were broken at that moment and the tears of joy and freedom flowed.

It was the most beautiful site to witness.

A woman later came to the pastor and said "the best part of this conference was when the Lord laid out the American so the woman of God could preach." Later we learned that the people gave Débora the nick name, "The golden hammer" because she spoke such a strong and bold word to them in love which pierced the hearts.

Some Highlights of these 4 days of meetings....

These meetings were in a prophetic posture, in which the church is intentionally pursuing the presence of God and the promises spoken over Brazil.
In 2 of the 3 sessions that Débora and I ministered 16 people gave their lives to Christ.
The children and youth were deeply touched by the Holy Spirit. Wave after wave of God's glory flooded the environment.
This young generation at the conference blessed and prayed over Débora and myself.
A Prophetic Word given to Débora and myself earlier this year was activated here.
As well as, Débora and I received a prophetic word from the Lord about our lives and ministry.

A Prophetic Word Activated...

In March of 2023 Sister Giselle Bonilla from Florida was ministering at conference we were also ministering at in Brazil. She was prophesying over people during the service and came up to Débora and myself as we were sitting on the front row. One of the things she prophesied was that people were going to start putting money in our hands and that it's now the time for what we have been believing God for.

In October of 2023 we were at a service at "My Father's Barn" in Bonner Springs and Pastors Neil and Cindi prophesied directly to Débora and myself and said

people would start putting money in our hands and that a new season has come.

Right before we came to Brazil from Kansas City in late October, we ministered at a service. At the end, two different men put pure silver coins in our hands.

Now, at this conference "The Womb of the Nations" during worship these two children (pictured below) separately, on two different services came up to us and put money in our hands.

When God gives you a word, partner and believe it.

Faith activates activity in the Kingdom of God.

"Abraham believed and so became the father of nations." Romans 4:18

Timing is God's part, faith is your part.

The following weekend we were ministering in another city these two women (pictured below) came up to Débora and gave her jewelry.

This is important to share because you have been following and participating with us in what God is doing in Brazil. We want to edify and encourage you with these things that the Lord is doing.

A Generation Hungry for God

Above two pictures: Some of the children came on the platform to lay hands on Débora and myself, to pray and bless us. I can't say enough about this moment. WE have a burning heart for this generation and to redeem an orphan spirit in Brazil. So many prophetic acts took place during this conference "The Womb of the Nation" that birthed what we have been carrying in gestation, seeking and pursuing God for over this generation.

Pastor Erles and his wife Pastor Adriana Matos have hosted the "Womb of the Nation" conference for 6 years now. They have three churches in the Porto Seguro area that they have pioneered as part of the AVIVAR Church. The level of honor and excellence that we witnessed here was extraordinary. They have a dynamic ministry and are revival oriented for the things of God. It was an honor and great pleasure to participate in this year's conference. In the green room pastor Erles gave Débora a prophetic word. "The Lord is putting a spirit of boldness on you and you need to not be afraid to speak what the Holy Spirit is giving you to release." Well this was activated in the meetings when Débora's inpromtu preaching was so bold that the people called her the "Golden Hammer" LOVE IT!!!!

A Prophetic Word Given...

During this conference in one of the sessions, pastor Mahtman Lopez from Rio de Janeiro was preaching. We had only met in passing at a couple other events, but he didn't know anything about us.

I want to share this with you, it's personal, it's powerful and it's God!

As you know we have been contending and believing God for Sozo Mountain to come to fruition. It's been 9 years since we stepped on that property and God spoke to us on that mountain top, about that place being for this generation of Brazil's children and youth. (Side note: It has not sold yet over all these years.)

While the pastor was preaching, he was sharing about how they needed 8 million reais ($1.5 million dollars) to start a school in Rio and how a local businessman came and wrote the check for the whole amount.

As I listened, I said to the Lord in my heart, "Lord, that's the exact amount of money we need to buy the property on the mountain for Sozo. If you did it for them I know you can do it for us". At that exact moment, he walked right in front of Débora and I, as we were sitting on the front row. Something happened... a burst like a colliding force literally pushed the man of God backwards as well as the two of us as we sat in our seats. Not to mention the people sitting next to us. It was a collision in the spirit. He stopped, looked at us and began to give us a prophetic word.

In summation he released this word to us...

"You did not come to this nation to plunder its resources but to give. The Lord is saying that you have brazilian spiritual citizenship and authority over this generation. The resources of this land are yours. The Lord says he approves of your project and you will support orphanages and care for wounded pastors. I see you both sitting at a table presenting projects and light is coming out of the table and spreading."

Rewinding back to March of 2023, we shared in that e-newsletter about how the Lord woke me up in the dead of sleep in the night. I heard so clearly, "Son, you have been waiting 9 years and have persevered, one year for every month of gestation.

Get ready!"

Now here at this conference "The Womb of the Nation" such a strong word was given, to us. What has been in gestation in our womb for Sozo. This is personal and sharing it with you takes a step of trust and faith. We must not be ashamed to contend and believe God for His promises no matter how long it takes.

The Principle of Honor...

Honor is a Biblical principle. In 1 Samuel 2:30 God says "I will honor those who honor me." So how do you honor God? One way is how we honor one another and the people of God. One of the Ten Commandments says to honor your father and mother and as a result, you will have God's favor and it will go well with you in life.

Proverbs 14:30 says that when we are generous to those in need we are honoring God. And in Matthew Jesus says that when you have fed the hungry, looked after the orphans, clothed the naked and visited those in prison, you have done it as unto to Him. Truly, honor is a kingdom principle we need to cultivate in our lives.

In Matthew 10:41 Jesus said that when we honor a prophet (man/woman of God) you will receive a prophet's reward in return.

This was our first time in Apostle Diego and Dani Isacaar's home. He sat me down and said to relax. I thought to myself, "This is quite different." I asked him why was I getting that treatment, and he said "it's a principle of honor when a man of God comes into my home to honor them." This brought an understanding to me about the time when the pharisees where so insulted by Jesus, when a woman came and bathed His feet with her tears and dried them with her hair and anointed His feet with expensive perfume. Jesus said to them, "I came into your home and you didn't wash my feet, but she did, you did not honor me but she did."

Later Apostle Diego gave me his watch.

Why am I sharing this?

Because God wants to BLESS YOU! Honor is a kingdom principle that heaven reciprocates in your life. I have witnessed this over and over again in my life and have witnessed this principle active and flowing out of the lives of so many anointed men and women of God that walk in the favor and power of the Holy Spirit.

We had ministered together with John Garcia at the "Womb of the Nations" conference and we were on the same flight. Before we said our goodbyes I heard the Lord say, "Give him 100 Reals." I immediately pulled it out of my pocket, as did he, at the exact same time. The Lord spoke the same thing to him. This is the principle of honor at work. John is amazing he had a high-end corporate position making good money. The Lord asked him to quit his job and serve a man of God for 1 year in his ministry, in whatever task and capacity the man of God assigned him. It was no small ask to quit his job to be in an unpaid servant position while having a wife, to completely trust the Lord for provision as he traveled extensively away from his wife to serve. I tell you, there is a prophet's reward for John beyond human explanation that will materialize in his life 100%

CAMPOS DO JORDÃO

DAY at TARUNDU

God always amazes us when we are in Campos do Jordão. Doors seam to open up with local business and city leaders. We were invited to spend a day at Tarundo with a group of special needs youth and adults from the city's home. We met the home's director as well as the woman in charge of oversight for the city's social welfare services. We see God preparing the soil for Sozo there. Tarundu is an outdoor theme park with activities like horseback riding, games, zip lining and many things to do. Tarundu sponsored a day for this special need's home. It was a great honor to be part of that moment.

We just recently got our Sozo bank account (Brazil side) established after almost two years. Ana was instrumental in making that happen. She had just transferred to Campos do Jordão this year to oversee operations when we met her. Truly a God appointed alignment.

Please pray for this man..

Above Pictures: While out for dinner with some friends in Campos do Jordão two homeless men approached us when entering the establishment. The man on the right in the gray shirt allowed us to pray for him. The power of God hit him and he fell out under the power of the Holy Spirit on the concrete, right there at the entrance. He got up and we prayed again and the same thing happened. Visibly touched, he was crying. We got to talk with him in more detail and he said he used to be a pastor. The devil is a liar! My friends, pray for your pastors. They are targets of the enemy and he seeks to divide and destroy. Remember the prophetic word mentioned earlier in this newsletter about the Lord saying Sozo would have a part in helping and restoring wounded pastors. Here's the beginning of that being activated and it happened in Campos do Jordão. The owner of the restaurant came to us afterwards and said he had never seen anything like that in his life and felt goosebumps all over his body and the awareness of the awesome presence of God.

Another Divine Encounter in

At the hotel the owners introduced us to a family who where friends of theirs and we enjoyed a nice dinner together. The next day after breakfast I had time together with Ton the husband and shared our story and vision for Sozo Mountain. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I had with this man of God. We hit it off and both knew it was a God encounter. Guess what? Turns out he has a nationally recognized worship ministry in Brazil called Sozo. Praise God!

Pastors' Conferences

We annually try to participate in a few pastors' conferences. One is from a group of churches from the Vinhedo ministry (They have 12 churches around Brazil and 1 in Canada), and the others are the local and national MFI (ministers fellowship international) conferences. The Vinhedo and MFI national pastors' conferences are both in November. It's always a good time to connect, network and be part of what God is doing throughout Brazil.

7 Years ago they moved to Dourados, MS Brazil to pioneer a church. We have been there now 3 times doing revival meetings. Some of the greatest miracles and moves of God we have seen have been where they pastor. The church is around 400 and busting at the seams. This couple have some of the most compassionate hearts and sacrificial love of any pastors we have met. They truly have cultivated an environment to host the love and presence of God.

A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER!

This was our first time in this church and being part of the "Revival through Fire" conference was over the top! Pastors Michel and Regiane are amazing and carry such a hunger for God. We look forward to more moments together in the future.

Times of Refreshing

I asked a pastor once a long time ago, "What's the best thing we can do to serve when we are in churches ministering?" He said "leave a blessing on the pastor. What good is a move of God in a congregation if the pastor is not imparted into." There is a lot of truth to that and I have never forgotten it. Pastors often are battle weary and need a spiritual encounter just as much as anyone else in the congregation. Pastors Michel and Regiane received such a refreshing touch from the Lord.

Pastors, let me encourage you, don't be a statue before the people. Be humble and hungry to receive and let the Lord bless you! The mistake is often to carry the water rather than to be in the river and let the water carry you. Revival begins with complete abandonment and submission to the Holy Spirit.

Breaking through the Spiritual Realm

Saturday Night: Often the first night of meetings can be spiritually challenging. The enemy knows and sees divine activity happening in the realm of the spirit and works hard to hinder people from going to the meetings or bringing distractions. The first night of the conference felt to be something as a "spirit of sleep" and it was heavy. Some friends of ours drove from São Paulo to be at the first night service with Débora and myself. They both had the same discernment. As soon as we got to the microphone we declared the name of Jesus as Lord and King. The brother had his eyes opened in the spirit and he saw demons fleeing and a lion behind Débora and I at the pulpit protecting us, GLORY to GOD!

The presence of God was so strong from this point on in the service. What took place in the two days of meetings is beyond ordinary by any means. 46 salvations, many healings, deliverances, and a mass baptism of Holy Spirit took place Sunday morning in which 80% of the church came forward. All the chairs had to be removed to accommodate the people and time of prayer. POWERFUL!!!!

What

Testimony of Deliverance and Salvation

This young man came to the altar to give his life to Jesus! He was from a city 50 KM away. The altar was full of people coming to Christ as he knelt down and surrendered all to Jesus! His shirt was full of demonic images. Débora asked the pastor to get another shirt for him. Later the young man said, "earlier I had a vision of myself taking off my shirt and putting on a new one." This young man was delivered and surely has an incredible call on his life which became clear. He scheduled with the pastor a time to take all of the demonic items out of his home and burn them.

Glory to God!

MIRACLE WATER BAPTISM: So many people had gotten saved the pastor had a small pool set up for those to get baptized in water. While the people were still at the altar in prayer this same young man who had just been delivered and was born again moments before, had an encounter with Jesus. He later testified, "Jesus took me by the hand and put me in the pool." Later, Pastor Michel came and Baptized him in the water. The level of Presence in this meeting was heavenly.

Autistic Boy Touched in the Power of the Holy Spirit!

This was a notable miracle. This autistic boy had never been able to stay in a service. Here he was taken in by the presence of the Holy Spirit and was in the full 3 1/2 hr service.

It was truly a move and touch of God! Other children in the service were in the same atmosphere of worship.

Voice of Waters Conference

Love Church

Forz do Iguaçu, Brazil

These were intense days at the "Voice of Waters" Conference. The Iguaçu Falls are 12 X larger than Niagara Falls. This area hosts the triple border between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. We ministered 3 sessions during the conference. Heavenly portals were opened in this place. It was a time of prophetic declarations and decrees over Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. Débora was not feeling well throughout the conference as we were coming off of a very busy month of services and traveling. The Lord is faithful and we finished with victory!

From the womb of Brazil in the North to the center of Brazil to the South of Brazil here in Iguaçu Falls, November was a powerful and spiritually active month for us. God is moving in Brazil. The land has been prepared and is fertile soil for a great last days harvest of souls.

Above Picture: The evening service was wrapping up, and this young boy was on his face seeking God at 11:35 pm, as his parents waiting patiently. This is indicative of what we are seeing the Lord do in this generation in Brazil. Revival is at hand.

Psalms 24 says, This is the generation of them that seek him, That seek thy face.

Isaiah said, "Here I am Lord send me!" Isaiah 6:8

These two told us they had recently moved to Iguaçu Falls from Maringá (which is in another state) and that about 5 years ago we ministered in Maringá at a youth event they attended. They said it was a moment that radically marked and changed their lives. They were so excited to share this with us as well as, they are preparing to get married.

Pastor Jose Alamo from Argentina was one of the ministers at the conference. Débora and I were on the front row, during his preaching time. He laid hands on us and released a word and said "the Lord is activating you now for a new season", and many other things.

I asked the pastor Lúcio from the church who this man from Argentina was and he said he's considered the Father of Argentina's prophetic movement. This resonated with me because 25 years ago I read about the mighty Argentina Revival and would literally weep reading about all that was happening there with Carlos Annacondia and Claudio Freidzon. I asked the Lord that someday I would like to meet these people connected with this great revival in Argentina.

Above Picture: We were fortunate again while in Campos do Jordão for the second time in a few months to get on the property. The caretaker gave us the liberty to walk around and pray.

Thank you for your love and support. Let's see 2024 be the year Sozo Mountain comes to fruition.
