DON'T MISS IT:

AN IMPORTANT SOZO MOUNTAIN UPDATE IS IN THIS NEWSLETTER

Receiving Friends in Kansas

Above: Before Christmas we received some friends (Davi and Isabella) in our home from Brazil. We took them to Red Door Grill for fried chicken night. Can you tell he just loved the food? We only had two days together because Davi's mother passed away two days after they arrived and they took the first flight out back to Brazil. It was a difficult moment for Davi and Isabella .Despite the circumstances we laughed a lot and prayed together. Davi said it was God's timing to be in Kansas during this time and that they will never forget the love and hospitality.

Above: After Christmas we received some friends (Igor, Camila and their children Paola and Israel) in our home from Brazil. They stayed with us for 9 days. The days were full showing them the sites around the Kansas City area. Q39 was a hit! Can you tell how much Igor loved Walmart? They experienced their first snow and an ice storm.

Home for the Holidays

Above: Christmas is our favorite time. After a full schedule of ministry, traveling and work we close out the year with our family, cherishing these moments. Our children, sons in law, grandkids and family are our most precious thing in this world. Our anual Christmas dinner with the kids on the plaza is always a joy.

Paranaiba Presbyterian Church

8 Salvations & 11 recommitments to Christ

We ministered twice in this 3 day conference (Awaken)

Preached a message entitle "Faith to move your Mountain

The second message was on the "Annointing"

This presbyterian church started in someone's home. In the first few years they had two different pastors. The initial core group wanted the presence of the Lord and the gifts of the Holy Spirit evident in the life of the church. The first two pastors were traditional in that they did not believe in the modern day workings of the Holy Spirit. The core group prayed and the Lord sent them a spirit filled man and woman of God, Pastors Paulo and Juliana, who have now been at the church for 7 years. They have laid a foundation of teaching, prayer and trust that they would encounter a revivalistic move of God with the power of the Holy Spirit activated within their local body of believers.

This Conference was entitle Despertar (Awaken), and was the moment the church had been believing for. The church fasted 7 days prior to this conference and prayed at 5 am daily at the church during this 7 day period. They were serious with God and wanted to engage their desire for more.

Testimonies

Salvation is the greatest testimony of all and we praise God for the 8 that came forward to give their lives to Jesus and 11 that renewed their walk and commitment with Christ .

--A women with a fused bone in her lower neck area was healed and full movement was restored.

--Over 13 people with rotator cuff issues were healed. The faces of amazement were precious.

--Women who was 50% deaf in both ears was healed before all. She took out her hearing aides and could hear perfectly clear.

--1/2 dozen or so of sinus issues healed at the altar during prayer time. One young girl was scheduled for surgery that week. She was completely healed. Oh to see the joy on her face and the mother's, just precious!

--One teenage girl came separately and asked for prayer. She said that she was the only believer in her home and they persecute her severely. She asked for the Lord to help her endure and bring an end to this difficult situation. The power of God hit her in such a strong way. What the Lord was doing in the spirit only He knows, but it was evident that He was moving on her behalf.

--A woman with a bone marrow disease was prayed for. We saw the Lord move on her very powerfully. Many times the results are to be seen later, so we go in faith.

--A man that had constant ringing in his ear for the past few years said it has never gone away. At the time of prayer, it ceased. He was so moved and bewildered, he shook his head around and could find the ringing. How he rejoiced and celebrated! Glory to God!

--About 20 people with back and skeletal issues were prayed for. We could not verify all results at the time, but the smiles on many of the faces as they did movements to see what the Lord did, made it evident of many of them being healed.

This man came up for prayer saying he had a promise from God as a child that He would use his hands as instruments of healing and blessing. He was asking God for the fire and presence of the Holy Spirit to touch him so he could be fully equipped to go and do this.

Well, in about 2 seconds it was as if a lightening bolt from heaven struck him and he went flying back. No human hands touched this man, it was the finger of God for sure. He laid out on the floor under the weight of God's glory profoundly receiving from the Lord.

Later he told us, "I never believed in that falling over stuff, but now I do!"

Don't leave till you receive power from the Holy Spirit. --Acts 1: 4-8

Bar-b-Que Brazilian Style.

After Sunday morning's service we went to the home of a couple who are one of the founding members of the church. Their heart for the body of Christ is to open up their home to host. In fact, the church started in their home. We always enjoy the Brazilian hospitality and the time to be together to get to know the people better. We fell in love with this amazing family of believers at the Presbyterian Church of Paranaiba.

At a restaurant Sunday night with the pastors and some of the core leadership team.

Snipit's Since the New Year...

We have spent much time in community around the table with leaders and friends in this season as we are preparing for a move to Campos do Jordāo. We see the Lord orchestrating our schedule accordingly.

John and Rita have loved us and been such good friends to us here in Brazil. We had time before they left for Florida for a time, where Rita will work and John will be attending school to learn english. We will for sure miss them!

Weddings are a HUGE deal in Brazil. We had the privilege of attending the wedding of João Moreira and Sarah Bertelli. We witnessed one of the most beautiful moments ever seen in a wedding ceremony. The bride washed the feet of her parents and the groom washed the feet of his parents. WOW!!!!!!!

Impactful and a prophetic act that speaks volumes.

"Children, honor your father and mother that you would have a long life." Ephesians 6:1-3

At the mall with our wives and the guys (Erles, Igor and Michel) are having guy time.

Erles said the Lord had been speaking to me these days about buying something nice for himself. I heard the Lord say, "you have ministered for 15 years establishing the church plants, always giving from your own pocket. You have never went to buy something special that you want for yourself. Buy something you want!" So he said he had always wanted a pair of GUCCI tennis shoes.

"Your Heavenly Father desires and know how to give good gifts to his children." Matthew 7:11

While Débora was at a women's leadership event, I spent time with some pastor friends . We ministered to each other, laughed and prayed. Much of the conversation was around Sozo Mountain. We lifted out hands to the hills and prayed for Sozo and the property owner. God has given us so many people here in Brazil that are pryaing for and cheering for the Sozo Mountain Project. Our dear friend Pastor Luis was in that week from Canada and it was so good to see him again.

Having time together with our dear friends Djair and Néia who also happen to be our lawyers for the Sozo Mountain project. They were instrumental in us acquiring our non-profit status here in Brazil which took 5 years. When the Sozo Mountain property is acquired they will be the ones facilitating the documentation and purchase contract.

After a baby shower we went to dinner with close friends. They are much younger than us and we just love to spend time with this new generation God is raising up.

They said, "We don't know how you two do it, Débora especially, is always willing to go here and there, you just don't stop! How do you guys keep going?"

While in Campos do Jordão we got to celebrate our friend Fabio's birthday at their hotel, along with his wife and family. The newly elected mayor stopped by to wish Fabio a happy birthday. The mayor recognized us and came to say hi. He said he remembered us, that in 2017 along with the Church of the Harvest missions team we went to a local high school and ministered to the youth. He said it was an impactful moment. The presence of God was so beautiful in that moment, he took the microphone in front of the school and said, "This could only be God." We told him we are making the move to Campos do Jordão within the month to begin preparations for the Sozo Mountain project. His eyes lit up and I could see his mind working. We told him one of our objectives since Sozo will be in the Campos do Jordão, is that we want to be a blessing and support for the people and city. We are here to serve and bless!

 Zion Church Campinas

Diamond (50 yrs +) Breakfast

1 Salvation

What a wonderful privilege to minister to the Diamonds at the Zion Church in Campinas. The spiritual atmosphere was different as so many said "When we stepped in to the room the environment had such a great sense of expectation!" We were told that a team of 15 intercessors fasted and prayed for 7 days prior, out of a deep hunger and desire for the Lord to move. This blessed us greatly, because for them this was not just a breakfast gathering of fellowship, but an opportunity to hear and receive from the Lord. Heaven responds to spiritual hunger, and the Lord delivered! The breakfast started at 9 am and finished at 1:30pm. The group leader said no one wanted the time to end, they wanted to stay longer. Time was not an issue, no one even looked at the clock. When we give freedom for the Holy Spirit to do what He wants, it is beautiful. Later someone said this about the breakfast, "The playground was lit on FIRE!"

Testimonies...

--1 Salvation, Praise God!

--There was a word about heart and kidneys. A man came up who had both issues.

--Woman with cancer in the throat. A demon manifested and she was set free

-Woman with intestinal issues came specifically to the breakfast for prayer. The Holy Spirit came on her so powerfully.

-Many wounded former pastors were present. We prayed for several one on one. Later we heard testimonies that they received a supernatural inner healing and are ready to re-engage their callings. One pastor and his wife came to us and said, "We are ready, but need the FIRE of the Spirit." BAM!!! The Spirit came on them both in power!

--A man was a soloist and had not been able to sing in years. He had some type of vocal cord or throat issue. After the laying on of hands and prayer he was able to sing in tront of those present. Glory to God!!!!!

--A Woman with constricted veins received a healing touch from the Lord.

This man in the red shirt was a soloist and due to vocal cord and throat issues had not sang in several years. He was touched by the Holy Spirit and sang before all present. Hallelujah!

Vocal cords healed! Video of Soloist singing again!

SOZO MOUNTAIN BRAZIL

The latest...

Wow, wow, wow so much has happened since the last report. In the previous newsletter you may remember our first offer to purchase the property back in November was not accepted. We anticipated making a second offer right away, but we had no peace to make another offer at that time. We heard the Lord say, "Don't rush it, be patient". Then around Christmas time the realtor contacted us and said the owner wanted to know if we were going to make a second offer. We told him not at that point, but we would let him know. Fast forward to February, we were ministering in Paranaiba over the weekend. When we landed at the airport we got a call from Fabio our friend in Campos. He said the realtor contacted him and asked for him to speak with us about making another offer since the owner was looking for one. From this my mind was running non-stop. I was imagining every way we could find ways to pay for this property. Débora and I had a great sense that things had shifted in the Spirit and things were getting real after we have waited 10 years since we first walked on that property and the Lord spoke to us about it. Pastor Mahatma was one of the preachers for this event and he came up to me (Michel), strongly grabbed my arm and said with such force in his voice "The Lord says why are you so worried about money? Has not the Lord provided? He has everything you need for the project he's called you to, don't worry!" Okay, no one there knew about the Sozo project and on top of that, the deep worry that weighed heavy on me from the phone call at the airport.

Now we are in March. We gave our 30 day notice for our apartment, despite the fact we don't have a home to go to and that the Sozo negotiations are still in progress. We felt like we need to take a step of faith out of the boat first. We were just in Campos looking for a place to rent and had a meeting with the realtor while there. We came to terms on a new offer. He called the owner and he was not too happy, to put it kindly. We left it at that and stopped the negotiating and did not hear anything else.

Last week, coming back from another trip to Campos we stopped for dinner at a friend's home (this was Thursday March 13). At the table apostle Judá Bertelli had a vision, and he said "Michel I see you on a mountain top with your arms lifted up and flying like an eagle. The Lord say's its time. You have been patient and waited so long, Campos do Jordão and the region will be greatly impacted by Sozo Mountain. It will be a place of God's glory and God's demonstrative power."

Side note: Most Christians don't have an understanding of the prophetic nature of the Holy Spirit. It is a gift. If the Lord gives you a word or strong impression to share with someone, don't hesitate. Their heart will bear witness if it's a confirmation to them.

The next night (Friday March 14th) we got a call from the realtor saying the owner wanted to accept our last offer. He would like it written up to present to his ex-wife for approval.

We told him we could not respond at that moment as it was late and we would be out over the weekend ministering. Monday night we called an emergency board meeting with the Brazilian team to discuss our offer, to pray and seek God's approval. On Tuesday March 18th, we forwarded and submitted our offer to the realtor. Now at the writing of this newsletter we wait to see. There may be some sticking points that will need to be worked through, but we trust it will all come to fruition soon.

Ministry friends and partners, you have followed us over the years on our Mission's journey here in Brazil since 2013. We have always tried to be transparent and share with you details, the successes and difficulties we have faced. Our heart is for you to be a part along with us of what God is doing here.

When we have more updates, we will send out a special edition newsletter.

Let's continue believing and praying for Sozo Mountain Brazil.

Let's see this vision of Sozo Mountain come to fruition!

THANK YOU for being part of the All Nations family and the Sozo Mountain project here in Brazil.

A great harvest is coming in!
