PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED FOR TRAVEL
If you already have a passport, it is extremely important that your passport is valid through November 11, 2025. If your passport will not be valid through the referenced date, ensure to renew your passport timely enough that you have it prior to your travel date. If you do not have a passport, please visit http://www.travel.state.gov to start the process of securing one.
AIR INFORMATION: This cruise will sail from Barcelona (Airport Code BCN) and return to Barcelona. Guests will need to secure air to/from Barcelona, Spain. Currently, airlines post air itineraries/fares 330 days prior to a departure date.* After you have secured your air, it is necessary to provide STS with a copy of both your outbound and return flight itineraries. This is required in order to secure transportation. STS cannot secure your transportation without your air itineraries.
HOTEL/TRANSPORTATION: A one and two night stay in Barcelona Spain prior to departure will be offered to guests at a future date. We strongly recommend that all guests plan to arrive in Barcelona a minimum one day prior to cruise embarkation. If you do not wish to book your hotel prior to departure, make sure that you pay close attention to the time your flight is scheduled to arrive in Barcelona. It is important to ensure that you have enough time to travel from the airport to the pier for embarkation. Currently, embarkation time for this cruise is 5:00 p.m. Due to security reasons, all guests must be on board 2 hours before sailing on day 1 of the cruise.
DEPOSIT/PAYMENTS: Deposit (non refundable) and future payments can be paid via all major credit cards, debit cards with major credit card logos, and gift cards. Credit card payments must be called in to our office at 773.846.8875. If using a gift card, it is important to check with the banking entity promoting the card to ensure that they do not withhold a percentage when the card is used. For example, we have had experiences (especially with American Express gift cards) whereby the guest had an available balance of $500, but 20% was held, which means that only $400 was available for the payment and the card would not go through for $500. American Express stated that the vendor holds the 20% and the vendor states they do not. We do not know who requires the hold, but we do know it happens. Also, if you plan to use a gift card, please hold on to that gift card in case a refund is applicable. Please remember all prices are subject to change until deposit is made.
You may also call your payment in directly to the office. NEVER EVER EMAIL CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. We do not keep credit information, for your credit safety and ours. After we receive a credit card payment, your information is shredded. Please understand if paying by credit card, we will ask you for your credit card information each time. We do not mean to inconvenience you, we just believe in security.
