WHAT IS STEM DAY:
STEM Day is a half-day program designed to introduce students to engineering through fun projects and activities. The event includes hands-on activities for kids that will expose them to engineering concepts in an interactive and engaging way (activities are led by engineering professionals, scientists, and STEM college students), STEM Toy Door Prize Drawing, and a Parents Resource Center for parents to talk to engineering professionals and learn more about STEM camps, programs, and other resources available to help them continue their child’s interest in STEM activities and education. There will also be opportunities to tour the KSU Marietta campus and explore the Engineering Technology Center.
Help Students Discover Their Future in Engineering
Bring engineering to life by hosting a booth at ACEC Georgia’s STEM Day. Through hands-on activities and conversations with your team, your firm can help students explore how engineering solves problems, strengthens communities, and shapes the world around them.
Showcase your work, share the career paths within your firm, and give students a chance to ask questions, try something new, and picture themselves in the industry. Your team’s experience and enthusiasm can spark an interest that lasts well beyond the event.
Host a booth and help inspire the next generation of engineers.
