10-3-2011 - On this week's show, we are pleased to present Rob Stevens, CEO and co-founder of Spark Development Centers. Spark Development Centers opened their doors in 2005 to offer a unique learning center that utilizes cognitive training, sensory integration development, nutrition/dietary counseling, and brain-based tutoring techniques to increase students' abilities to attend, learn and succeed in school and life. Open year round, their after-school program consists of both physical and mental exercises designed to strengthen the core abilities needed for attention and learning. Their programs have proven highly effective even for those who have been diagnosed with attention or learning difficulties, including attention deficit disorder ("ADD" or "ADHD"), learning disabled ("LD"), dyslexia, and even high-functioning autism spectrum disorder ("ASD").
Since 1998, Rob has been working with children who demonstrate attention, learning and behavior issues. His extensive training in many varied, and proven development programs, as well as his collaboration with doctors, therapists, and educational experts have culminated in the Spark Development & Learning Program™.
Joined by his wife Tina, who provides invaluable nutrition counseling services, Rob Stevens and his highly trained staff of caring, supportive instructors, have the privilege of helping individuals improve attention, behavior and learning skills through natural, safe, fun and effective programs designed to strengthen the core physical and mental abilities necessary for emotional, academic and social growth.
Rob Stevens will be interviewed between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. on Long Island's WGBB 1240 AM. For those out of the local broadcast range, or wanting the best clarity, the program is simulcast on the internet at www.am1240wgbb.com .
