Our Shared Ministry and Mission
is made possible
through
YOUR Generosity and Commitment! Thank you beyond measure
Amazing God,
when was the last time we stood on tiptoes,
stretching to see over the horizon,
stretching to see tomorrow,
stretching to see the possibilities You offer?

Too many times we are complacent,
viewing life from the sidelines,
living in fear of scarcity
instead of rejoicing in your abundance.
Holy Spirit,
get us on our tiptoes again;
put us on frontiers of your revelation!

As seekers, help us affirm our faith.
As witnesses, help us to share our faith in Jesus.
As disciples, help us to follow Jesus faithfully.
As servants, help us to serve.

We pray in the mighty and redeeming name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.

A prayer offered at our Southern Cluster “Ministry and Mission” meal
by our Stated Clerk Becky Willis.
May we all stretch toward acts of increasing generosity
and holy trust!

and rejoice with joy and singing." - Isaiah 35:1
Honoring our Presbytery Membership through Creative Giving
My husband Ken and I have decided that, as part of our giving, we would like to pledge to Flint River Presbytery  at least  an amount equal to the number of years old we are together. We would like to invite others to match our pledge in whatever way works best for their households.   Perhaps a family would like to tally their cumulative years and make a donation based on that number. Perhaps someone would like to give a birthday gift in honor of a family or friend in an amount that matches their loved one’s age. There are many ways to enjoy this kind of pledge and many ways for different households to discern what is best for them to give. Remember “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7b) and a pledge of this sort cannot help but be a gift given in celebration of life and in affirmation of the joy we share as a connectional church.

For those who would like to have their memorial gifts listed in future publications, please note that clearly and we will include it in upcoming SPARKS or presbytery packets under “Milestones and Memories”.
