Hello Spartan Families!

Many of you have shared how important it is to have a full-time counselor on staff—and we completely agree. While that remains a priority and something we are actively working toward, I’m excited to share that God has already provided a beautiful step forward in the meantime.

We are thrilled to welcome Kimmie Schulz, a wonderful new volunteer who will be supporting our students through small group work focused on social-emotional learning (SEL), conflict resolution, and virtuous friendship skills. Kimmie is a member of St. Michael Parish and brings with her a strong background in mental health and education.

She served for many years in the Puyallup School District, working as a School Psychologist, School Counselor, and Behavioral Specialist. While she has experience supporting students from preschool through high school, her primary focus has been at the elementary level—making her a perfect fit for the needs of our younger learners.

Kimmie and her husband have been married for over 30 years and have two grown children. She loves spending time with family and friends, learning and reading, walking outdoors, and caring for their two French Bulldogs. Most of all, she brings a genuine heart for children and a deep desire to help them grow in virtue, resilience, and connection with others—through both faith and sound practice.

We are incredibly grateful to have Kimmie join our school in this capacity. Her presence is already a blessing, and I know her work will be a gift to many of our students.

Please help me in welcoming her to our family of families!
