We are Kicking off our 2018 Tax Credit Drive!
It's that wonderful time of year where we can really make a difference for our students at Scottsdale Prep by donating to our Tax Credit Drive! The AZ Public School Tax Credit allows state residents to contribute to our school and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on their state taxes. It doesn't cost you a dime, and 100% goes towards our extra-curricular and athletic programs!
These programs, which include athletics, rely on a successful Tax Credit Drive! Please contribute by:
2. Schedule your tax credit for a future date by CLICKING HERE - set it and forget it!
3. Complete at TAX CREDIT FORM and drop it off at our front desk or mail it to our school!
TC + 1 = We need your Tax Credit plus 1 more!
Anyone who pays Arizona taxes can give their tax credit to Scottsdale Prep! Please make sure to reach out to your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers!
  • Any family who initiates our TC + 1 strategy and gives their tax credit to SPA, and then goes out and gets 1 more will be entered in a weekly drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card! Drawings start Thursday, Dec 6th!
  • The MS and HS grade that brings in the most Tax Credit contributions by Jan. 31st will win an R & R weekend!
  • The top student who brings in the most Tax Credit contributions by Jan. 31st will earn "Administrator for the Day." They will enjoy a fun day with Ms. Chaney, Mr. Gilfillan and Mr. Gale!
  • As a whole school, if we meet our Tax Credit goal, we will earn a PLUS ONE DAY!! (Plus One Day includes a jean day, and a fun PARTY during lunch time!)
If you have any questions, please contact Paola Gale at or 602-776-3571

Support Mr. & Mrs. Clement - SPA Bake Sale
Friday, December 14, 2018 in the SPA Library
As many of you may know, Mr. Travis Clement (music teacher and speech & debate leader) is preparing for an upcoming kidney transplant in January. His wife, Anna Chasse-Clement (drama & lit/comp teacher and drama club leader) will be taking time off to care for him during his recovery. In an effort to show our support for the Clements during this challenging time, the SPA community will be holding a bake sale on Friday, December 14th in the SPA Library. Here's how you can help:
  • Bring in a baked good for the sale. See this SIGN UP GENIUS list for details.
  • Attend the bake sale. Parents are welcome to drop by from 7am - 8am for coffee and a sweet treat. The bake sale will be open throughout the day for students to visit during lunch, lyceum or after school.

Help Needed for Snowstorm Staff Luncheon on December 19
Please consider giving of your time to make the Snowstorm luncheon a success.   It is hosted by all grades and is a time for teachers to sit down as a whole group and to receive their Snowstorm Gifts. Main dishes will be catered so we are asking for monetary contributions. There are sign ups for volunteers, salads, desserts, appetizers, paper products, etc.  Our volunteers are particularly important on half day lunches as things move quickly AND we want all staff duties covered so they can all eat as one big group.
