From the Office of Academy Giving
Because of your gift to our Community Investment campaign ,
our scholars at Scottsdale Prep have access to two college counselors, Mrs. Roslyn Fletcher and Ms. Laney Smith.
Their expertise, and dedication are a tremendous boon to our students.  Not only do our Great Hearts College Counselors have the opportunity to serve families through workshops, presentations and our College 101 programming for juniors, they have the ability to meet individually with every student. They guide students in a truly personal process from initial college research to mock college interviews, as the student examines his/her own abilities, needs, and aspirations.  Individual attention to each student is possible because of a counselor to student ratio of 40:1.
We are honored to publicly recognize those families and friends who have contributed to the Community Investment campaign. Please  click here for a listing of our 2019-2020 Community Investment campaign donors as of September 20th.  If you have yet to make your donation to Community Investment, please consider doing so today. Your support makes all the difference! Please contact Paola Gale with any questions at 480-776-3571 or  pgale@scottsdaleprep.org . Click here to DONATE NOW!

Box Tops are getting a makeover!
Clipping box tops will be phasing out over the next year and it will turn into an all online process.  Physical box tops will still appear on products so continue to clip (Due by Oct 25th.  Please drop in marked bin at front office),  but be aware of the new process on products indicating to SCAN for Boxtops that are out in stores now.  Every household will need to download the Boxtops app from either the Apple App store or Google Play, search for Box tops for Education, and set up an account under Scottsdale Prep.  With the app, you will scan your store receipt and the app will do the rest to find the eligible products. Scanning boxes will be marked clearly. The apps will include all the details. We know this is a change, but in the long run, hopefully it will be easier for everyone to earn. As always, thanks for your extra effort to earn money for our school! If you have any questions, please contact Brenda Kimery, SPA Boxtops Coordinator at boxtops@spapso.org.

We are excited to present the Archer Corner as a new feature in the Spartan News Blast. The Archer Corner will feature items of interest to both Scottsdale Prep and Archway Scottsdale families!
This year some of the Senior class of 2020 at Scottsdale Prep have a unique distinction. They were the very first group of fourth grade students the year Archway Scottsdale opened its doors. Last week, some of those Archway alumni came back to spend some reading time with our students. It was a memorable experience for all!
