Headmaster Message

Each year, Scottsdale Prep students have the opportunity to participate in one of two distinct leadership councils.  Diakonos affords our high school students an opportunity to engage in leadership training and to serve as a liaison to school administration.  New this year is our middle school leadership council, called the Archons.  This council will engage in service and leadership activities throughout the year, overseen by MS Dean Wade Chapman and Assistant Headmaster Rich Gale.
Students must submit an application for consideration, and informational meetings are ongoing on campus for students to learn more.  Please use the below links to access the applications.

Meet the Academy Giving Team
The Department of Academy Giving helps make the vision and mission of Scottsdale Prep a reality. This team oversees our annual Community Investment and Tax Credit campaigns. Mrs. Paola Gale serves Scottsdale Prep as the Academy Giving Manager. Mrs. Gale graduated from Brigham Young University, and for the past 10 years has worked in Non-Profit Management and Youth Development. As a founding family at SPA and ACS, the Gale family has been part of Great Hearts for 11 years. They have four daughters: two SPA graduates and 2 current SPA students. Mrs. Gale loves spending time with her family, visiting San Diego and volunteering for her church.
Mrs. Jing Curtiss and Mrs. Debbie McKeighan assist Mrs. Gale as part of the Development Team. Mrs. Curtiss graduated from Indiana University, and loves hiking and spending time with her family in the outdoors. She has a 7th grader at SPA and a 5th grader at Archway. Mrs. Debbie McKeighan graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, and is also one of the founding families of SPA and ACS. Mrs. McKeighan has an SPA Grad, a current SPA senior, and a 9th grader. She likes to volunteer at GiGi's Playhouse in her free time. All three Development team members love Scottsdale Prep, and are dedicated to the mission of our school. Go SPARTANS!

Drop-Off/Pick-Up Reminders
A gentle reminder that all students who do not drive are to be dropped off at the back of the building. Once the front door is locked prior to the start of the school day students will be asked to walk around on the paved walkway on the side of SPA. Pick-up of students at the end of day is also to be at the back of the building for the safety of SPA students.  Thank you!
