Friends,
At St. Thomas Aquinas College, the “Spartan Spark” shines brightest when we unite around a shared purpose — igniting conversations that matter and creating lasting change for our students through the power of community.
Super Bowl Champion, College Football Hall of Famer, and CBS Sports’ lead analyst Aaron Taylor joined our campus community last Thursday to lead a Hope Huddle and special Signature STACChat, “Tackling Mental Health, Together!” Before a packed crowd of 300+ students filling the Aquinas Hall Gymnasium, Aaron illuminated how powerful the connection can be when Spartans come together to support mental health … and support one another.
The Hope Huddle became more than an event — it became a movement. Students, faculty, staff, and community members came together to listen, to learn, and to lead. Our students spoke courageously from the heart, and their openness sparked new ways to approach mental health across campus. Their voices reminded us that when Spartans unite, we create spaces that foster trust, resilience, and hope.
