December 2021
The Spaulding Center is gearing up for a busy Summer Camp season.
Youth Sailing Summer camp Open!
Spaulding Marine Center has opened registration for our youth sailing and woodworking summer camps. Each summer camp is limited to only 12 students to offer the maximum educational benefit. Each camp focuses on Sail Training, hands on in the Wood Shop, Kayaking and other activities. One week will focus on Sailing while the second week focuses more on the wood shop. So if you take up two weeks of camp, each week will be a little different.

Summer Camp Instructors and Volunteers needed.

This summer we are offering eight weeks of Sailing Camps. Along with one to two instructors we are looking for a few volunteers to help out on the water and in the Wood Shop. If you know anyone who would be interested, please ask them to get in touch with Jay Grant, our educational director (education@spauldingcenter.org)
You can also fill in a Volunteer form at the link below.
Support Apprenticeships though our Boat Yard
This year the Boat Yard has been busier than ever. If you're thinking of getting your bottom painted, adding additional electronics, or having other work done to your boat, now is the time.

This year the Boat Yard has been an integral part of our training ground for the young apprentices to learn alongside our experienced boatyard staff.

By bringing your boat to Spaulding Marine Center for service, you will be directly supporting our Boatworks 101 educational program.
Supporting the Spaulding Center
Thank you for your continued support
We hope to continue with our regular community outreach and educational programs in 2022. With our new Apprenticeship program, boatbuilding and marine tech classes, along with our community programs your Donations are always greatly welcomed. Donations we receive from you go right back into our youth programs and our boating community as a whole.
