In 2009 Marta lane-Greenlaw started accent reduction classes for the city of Portland. Many of her students were highly educated and held professional positions in their native countries. After immigrating to America, they were not able to attain similar levels of employment due to their lack of intelligibility with the American accent. Marta is the only trained American accent professional in the Portland area.
Marta earned a Masters in TESOL and her specialty is pronunciation due to her speech Therapy background.
