NYC Council Members are responsible for proposing, debating, and voting on local laws and the city budget. They also advocate for constituents’ needs, help resolve local issues, and oversee city agencies to ensure they’re serving the community effectively.

Council Member Keith Powers currently represents New York City’s Council District 4, which includes Manhattan’s East Side and Midtown. With term limits preventing him from running again, the seat is now open - presenting us with an important opportunity to hear directly from the new candidates.

Carnegie Hill Neighbors is hosting a virtual forum to give our community a chance to hear directly from the candidates. Candidates slated to participate include:

Vanessa Aronson, Faith Bondy, Virginia Maloney, Rachel Storch, Lukas Florczak, and Ben Wetzler.

Register to join us on Zoom and learn where they stand on the issues that matter most to our neighborhood. Have a question you’d like to ask? Submit it in advance using the registration form.
